You don't have to arrive with the right words. You don't need a crisis to justify being here. And you don't have to manage how you come across before the real work can begin.
Therapy at Polari is rooted in psychodynamic therapy which goes beyond symptoms to understand the deeper patterns shaping your emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
From the beginning, I prioritize transparency around communication, office policies, confidentiality, and the therapy process so you know what to expect.
No guesswork. No performative therapy. Just real work at your pace.

What Therapy Here Looks Like
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy which goes beyond symptoms to understand the deeper patterns shaping your emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
Therapy with me is collaborative, transparent, and tailored to you. I believe meaningful therapy happens when people feel safe enough to be honest—not just about what’s happening, but what’s underneath it.
From the beginning, I prioritize transparency around communication, office policies, confidentiality, and the therapy process so you know what to expect.
No guesswork. No performative therapy. Just real work, at your pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Yes — I accept Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, and Quest through Headway. I offer reduced sliding scale fees on a cas basis. If cost is a barrier, reach out and we'll talk about what's available.
Can I work with you if I'm not in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. I offer telehealth to adults throughout Florida — including Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, Tampa, and St. Petersburg. If you're outside Florida, reach out anyway. I'm actively pursuing additional state licensure.
Do I need to be in therapy to get a WPATH letter?
No. The WPATH SOC 8 does not require ongoing therapy as a prerequisite. I'll tell you exactly what the process involves for your specific situation from the first conversation.
Ready to find out if this is the right fit?
You don't have to have it figured out before you reach out. I offer a free 15-minute consultation — no commitment, no paperwork. Just a real conversation about what’s going on and a chance to see if we’d be a good fit.
